We spent a wonderful day exploring New Mexico Route 4 which goes up through Jemez Pueblo,  Jemez Springs, around the Valles Caldera and back home through Santa Fe.  The rich Pueblo history and going way back to the volcanic history of New Mexico was very interesting.  The rock formations unusual and tempting for rock climbers which we saw along the way.  This area had special meaning to me since my son, Christopher, explored this same area when he was a young man making a cross-country trip with a bunch of his friends.
